IPhone 8 Plus has a score of 87.1, which is a lot better than HTC One (M8)'s 71.9 overall score. IPhone 8 Plus's construction is a lot newer and thinner than HTC One (M8)'s, but it's way heavier. HTC One (M8) features a bit sharper screen than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the HTC One (M8) also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen.
The iPhone 8 Plus features a bit faster processing unit than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory, more CPU cores and a 64 bits CPU. The iPhone 8 Plus has a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One (M8), because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus captures greater pictures and videos than HTC One (M8), and although they both have a same size sensor, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus also has a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution, a lot better (4K) video definition and a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light images and videos.
