The Asus ROG Phone 5s is much better than the HTC One (M8), getting a global score of 84.9 against 71.9. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ROG Phone 5s has the newer 12 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0, giving you some extra features. The Asus ROG Phone 5s body is way newer than the HTC One (M8)'s, but it's heavier and just a bit thicker.
HTC One (M8) features a little more vivid screen than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because although it has a bit lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better pixels count in each inch of display. The Asus ROG Phone 5s features a very superior storage to store more games and applications than HTC One (M8), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.

Asus ROG Phone 5s counts with a very superior camera than HTC One (M8), because it has a camera in the back with a much better 64 mega pixels resolution, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a lot higher image and video quality, a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light captures and videos.
