HTC One M9 has a score of 77.7, which is a bit better than the HTC One (M8)'s 71.9 general score. Both phones we are comparing use the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System), so they should provide you identical operating system features. The HTC One M9 is a newer and a little bit lighter device than HTC One (M8), but it's also a little thicker.
HTC One M9 features just a little better hardware performance than HTC One (M8), because it has 1 GB more RAM, a 64 bits processing unit, a much better graphics co-processor working at 600 megahertz and a higher number of cores. The HTC One M9 has a bit more vivid display than HTC One (M8). Both of them have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, the same amount of pixels in each screen inch and a screen with the same size.
The HTC One M9's storage capacity for applications and games is very similar to the HTC One (M8) one, they have equal internal memory and a SD card slot that allows up to 128 GB. HTC One M9 counts with a little longer battery performance than HTC One (M8), because it has a 2840mAh battery size. The HTC One M9 has a lot better camera than HTC One (M8), because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light photos and video, it also counts with a much higher video resolution, a back camera with a much higher resolution and a way larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a lot higher image and video quality.
