Huawei Mate 20 is better than the HTC One (M8), getting a global score of 79.5 against 71.9. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Huawei Mate 20 has 9.0 Pie version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0, providing a couple nice extra features. Huawei Mate 20's construction is way newer and thinner than HTC One (M8)'s, but it's heavier.
The HTC One (M8) has a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel density. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a superior memory to install applications and games than HTC One (M8), because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
