Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X has a global score of 89.4, which is much better than HTC One (M8)'s general score of 71.9. Huawei Mate X's design is noticeably newer, but way heavier and somewhat thicker than HTC One (M8). Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate X has a newer 9.0 Pie version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version.
Huawei Mate X has a bit better processing power than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of cores and 6 GB more RAM. The HTC One (M8) has a slightly better screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a really smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per screen inch.
Huawei Mate X has much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than HTC One (M8), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 480 GB more internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate X counts with a superior battery performance than HTC One (M8), because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.
The Huawei Mate X has just a bit better camera than HTC One (M8), because it has a lot bigger sensor capturing much higher quality photographs, a back camera with much more mega pixels and a larger aperture to capture better photography and video in low light situations.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC One (M8), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC One (M8). If you are trying to save some money, you can get the HTC One (M8), and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
