Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X2 is much better than the HTC One (M8), getting an 89.1 score against 71.9. Huawei Mate X2 is a incredibly newer and thinner cellphone than HTC One (M8), although it is also way heavier. Both phones in this comparison use Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X2 has a newer 10 version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version.
HTC One (M8) has a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a really smaller display, it also counts with a little higher pixel density. Huawei Mate X2 features a bit better processing power than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM and 4 more cores.
Huawei Mate X2 has a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One (M8), because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Huawei Mate X2 captures much clearer videos and photos than HTC One (M8), because it has a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a way better resolution camera and a larger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and videos.
Huawei Mate X2 counts with a way better battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HTC One (M8), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as HTC One (M8). If you prefer to save some money, you can buy HTC One (M8), giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
