The Huawei P20 Pro has an overall score of 81.4, which is better than HTC One (M8)'s score of 71.9. These phones include Android OS, but Huawei P20 Pro has newer 10 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0. Huawei P20 Pro's design is way newer and somewhat thinner than the HTC One (M8)'s, but it's also heavier.
The HTC One (M8) has a much better looking screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a little worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display. Huawei P20 Pro counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One (M8), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Huawei P20 Pro counts with a processor that's very similar to HTC One (M8)'s CPU, because although the Huawei P20 Pro has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 4 more CPU cores and 4 GB more RAM memory. Huawei P20 Pro features a way better battery duration than HTC One (M8), because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Huawei P20 Pro has a very superior camera than HTC One (M8), because it has a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality, a bigger aperture, a way higher 40 MP resolution back facing camera and a way better 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Huawei P20 Pro costs a little more than HTC One (M8), but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
