Motorola edge is way better than the HTC One (M8), with an 89.6 score against 71.9. Motorola edge's design has the same thickness than the HTC One (M8), but it's heavier. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Motorola edge has 10 version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0. Motorola edge and HTC One (M8) both feature incredibly similar CPUs, because although the Motorola edge has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores (but slower) and more RAM.

HTC One (M8) features a better looking screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a lot smaller display and a quite lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. The Motorola edge features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than HTC One (M8), because it has 256 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot that allows up to 1000 GB.

The Motorola edge has a very superior battery performance than HTC One (M8), because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity. Motorola edge has a lot better camera than HTC One (M8), because it has a way better video quality, a larger aperture, a way larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back camera with a lot higher resolution.

The Motorola edge costs a lot more than the HTC One (M8), but you can get a much better phone for that few extra dollars.
