The Motorola One Hyper is much better than HTC One (M8), with a 79.8 score against 71.9. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Motorola One Hyper has 11 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0. Motorola One Hyper's design is way newer and a little thinner than HTC One (M8)'s, although it's noticeably heavier.

HTC One (M8) counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola One Hyper, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster) and 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. The HTC One (M8) has a brighter display than Motorola One Hyper, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a way smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels amount per inch of display.

The Motorola One Hyper has a much better storage to install applications and games than HTC One (M8), because it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity. The Motorola One Hyper has a very superior battery performance than HTC One (M8), because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Motorola One Hyper has a lot better camera than HTC One (M8), because it has a bigger diafragm aperture, a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back facing camera with a lot higher 64 megapixels resolution.

Motorola One Hyper is a little more expensive than the HTC One (M8), but it's still a good choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
