Comparison review
OnePlus 9 is slightly better than the HTC One (M8), having a score of 76 against 71.9. OnePlus 9 is a much newer and a little thinner phone than HTC One (M8), but it is heavier. These devices have Android operating system, but the OnePlus 9 has newer 11 version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0. OnePlus 9 has a little bit better hardware performance than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a larger amount of RAM.
HTC One (M8) features a brighter screen than OnePlus 9, because although it has a much smaller screen and a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen. OnePlus 9 features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than HTC One (M8), because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
The OnePlus 9 has a very superior battery life than HTC One (M8), because it has a 4500mAh battery size. The OnePlus 9 has a lot better camera than HTC One (M8), because it has a bigger camera aperture for better low-light photography and video, a way larger back camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photos, a back-facing camera with a way better resolution and a way higher 7680x4320 video definition.
Although OnePlus 9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC One (M8), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC One (M8). So if you want that extra features, you can buy the OnePlus 9, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the HTC One (M8), letting go some specs and features.
