Comparison review
The Galaxy A31 is much better than the HTC One (M8), getting an 81.3 score against 71.9. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A31 has the newer 10 version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0. Although the Galaxy A31 is somewhat heavier than HTC One (M8), it's a little bit thinner and much newer.
HTC One (M8) counts with a sharper display than Galaxy A31, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the display. Galaxy A31 has a superior memory to store more apps and games than HTC One (M8), because it has 32 GB more internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
HTC One (M8) has a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has an inferior number of cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy A31 has a superior battery life than HTC One (M8), because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy A31 features a very superior camera than HTC One (M8), because although it has lower video frame rate, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing way higher quality photographs and a much better 48 MP resolution back-facing camera.
