Galaxy Alpha is just a bit better than the HTC One (M8), with a global score of 76.3 against 71.9. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Alpha has older 4.4.4 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0. Galaxy Alpha's design is way thinner and extremely lighter than the HTC One (M8).
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha and HTC One (M8) both feature very similar processing units, they have a 450 megahertz graphics co-processor, 2 GB of RAM and a Quad-Core CPU. The Galaxy Alpha has a much better camera than HTC One (M8), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for taking photographs and videos in low light environments, it also counts with a much better video resolution and a back facing camera with much more MP.
The Galaxy Alpha is not only the best phones in our comparison, but it's also a bit cheaper, making this phone a very good choice.
