The Galaxy C5 has an overall score of 76.4, which is a bit better than the HTC One (M8)'s overall score of 71.9. Galaxy C5 is a newer phone, and it's also lighter and noticeably thinner than the HTC One (M8). Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy C5 has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version.

The Galaxy C5 has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One (M8), and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 128 GB, the Galaxy C5 also has 32 GB more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy C5 features a bit better camera than HTC One (M8), because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy C5 also counts with a lot higher 16 mega pixels resolution back camera and a larger diafragm aperture to take better photography and video in low-light environments.
Galaxy C5 has a battery performance that is very similar to the battery life in HTC One (M8).
