Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy C5 has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version.

The HTC One (M8) counts with a little bit better processing power than Galaxy C5, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. HTC One (M8) counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy C5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the HTC One (M8) also counts with a little bit better pixel density.

The Galaxy C5 has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One (M8), and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 128 GB, the Galaxy C5 also has 32 GB more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy C5 features a bit better camera than HTC One (M8), because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy C5 also counts with a lot higher 16 mega pixels resolution back camera and a larger diafragm aperture to take better photography and video in low-light environments.
