The Galaxy M30 has a score of 82.4, which is much better than HTC One (M8)'s 71.9 global score. The Galaxy M30 construction is notably newer and somewhat thinner than HTC One (M8)'s, although it is also just a little bit heavier. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy M30 has newer 9.0 Pie version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version, providing the user a couple nice extra features.
HTC One (M8) has a brighter screen than Galaxy M30, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit greater screen pixel density. HTC One (M8) has a bit faster processor than Galaxy M30, because although it has 4 lesser processing cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processor.
Samsung Galaxy M30 counts with a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than HTC One (M8), because it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage. The Galaxy M30 counts with a much better battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
The Galaxy M30 takes clearer photographs and videos than HTC One (M8), because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and images and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Galaxy M30 also counts with a camera with lot more MP and a bigger camera aperture for better low light photography and videos.
