Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is much better than the HTC One (M8), having a score of 81.6 against 71.9. Samsung Galaxy Note 4's construction is thinner but a little bit heavier than the HTC One (M8), and both were released with only a couple months difference. These devices have the same Android 5.0 OS.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a little bit better display than HTC One (M8), because it has a quite better pixels density, a quite larger display and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Galaxy Note 4 features as much storage capacity for games and applications as the HTC One (M8), they have a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 128 GB and the same internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a bit better processing unit than HTC One (M8), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also has a greater amount of RAM memory and a better graphics processor.
