Galaxy Note Edge has a global score of 81.7, which is much better than the HTC One (M8)'s global score of 71.9. These phones come with the same Android 5.0 OS (operating system). The Galaxy Note Edge design is somewhat thinner but just a little bit heavier than the HTC One (M8), and they were released with only a couple of months difference.

Galaxy Note Edge features a little sharper display than HTC One (M8), because it has a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution, a just a bit more pixels per screen inch and a bit larger screen. HTC One (M8) and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge have really similar storage capacity to install applications and games, they have a SD extension slot that supports up to 128 GB and the same 32 GB internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy Note Edge has a little bit better processing power than HTC One (M8), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note Edge also has more RAM memory and a much better graphics processing unit working at 500 MHz. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge captures much better videos and photos than HTC One (M8), because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a bigger sensor shooting better quality photos, a way better 3840x2160 video resolution and a way more megapixels camera.

Galaxy Note Edge features a little longer battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.

Galaxy Note Edge is a little more expensive than the HTC One (M8), but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
