Samsung Galaxy Note3 has a global score of 77.7, which is slightly better than the HTC One (M8)'s 71.9 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Note3 construction is a bit heavier but somewhat thinner than HTC One (M8), and they were released with only a couple of months difference. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note3 has the previous 4.4.2 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version.

HTC One (M8) has a little better processing power than Galaxy Note3, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One (M8) also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The HTC One (M8) has a better display than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the HTC One (M8) also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of display.

The Galaxy Note3 takes much better pictures and videos than HTC One (M8), because although it has a tinier sensor shooting worse quality videos and photographs and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking pictures in low light environments, it also counts with a back camera with a lot better 13 megapixels resolution and a much better video definition.

Samsung Galaxy Note3 features more storage to store more games and applications than HTC One (M8), because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Note3 counts with better battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has a 23 percent larger battery capacity.
