The Samsung Galaxy Note4 is a bit better than HTC One (M8), getting a general score of 77.6 against 71.9. Samsung Galaxy Note4's design is somewhat thinner but a little heavier than the HTC One (M8), and both were released only 6 months apart. The HTC One (M8) has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Note4, although it has a lot lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, a bit smaller screen and a little bit less pixels per inch in the display.

The HTC One (M8) counts with a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and lesser processing cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional GPU. The Galaxy Note4 has as much storage to install games and applications as HTC One (M8), both of them have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 128 GB and equal 32 GB internal storage.

The Galaxy Note4 counts with improved battery performance than HTC One (M8), because it has a 24 percent bigger battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy Note4 has a better camera than HTC One (M8), because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a bigger sensor, a back camera with much more mega-pixels and a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
