Although Samsung Galaxy Note5 is a little heavier than the HTC One (M8), it's thinner and also newer. HTC One (M8) features just a bit better display than Galaxy Note5, although it has a little smaller display, a just a little lower pixel density and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080.

HTC One (M8) has a little bit better storage for applications and games than Galaxy Note5, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
