Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S4 has a score of 78.3, which is a bit better than HTC One (M8)'s 71.9 score. Both of these phones use the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System), so both should provide the user very similar operating system features. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is an older device than the HTC One (M8), but it's thinner and somewhat lighter anyway.

Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with a display that's very similar to the HTC One (M8) one, both of them have a display with the same size, the same 1920 x 1080 resolution and the same number of pixels in each inch of screen. Galaxy S4 counts with a greater storage to store more apps and games than HTC One (M8), because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports 64 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage.

The HTC One (M8) features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has lesser cpu cores (although faster), and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the HTC One (M8) also counts with an additional graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy S4 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than HTC One (M8), because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates, a tinier diafragm aperture and a smaller sensor taking lower quality videos and photos, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S4 also counts with a lot higher resolution back facing camera.

Samsung Galaxy S4's battery performance is just as good as the HTC One (M8) one.

The Galaxy S4 costs a bit more than the HTC One (M8), but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
