The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a global score of 78.1, which is a bit better than HTC One (M8)'s 71.9 general score. These devices include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has the previous 4.4.2 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is a a bit lighter and somewhat thinner phone than HTC One (M8), even when both of them were only released with a couple months difference.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a CPU that is just as good as HTC One (M8)'s processor, and although the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a faster 500 MHz graphics processor, they both have the same RAM amount and a Quad-Core processor. The HTC One (M8) and the Galaxy S5 Plus count with quite similar screens, because although the Galaxy S5 Plus has a little less pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a quite bigger screen.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus captures much clearer pictures and videos than HTC One (M8), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing photos and video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video quality, a bigger sensor taking better quality pictures and a camera with a much higher 16 mega pixels resolution.

The HTC One (M8) counts with a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a SD extension slot that allows up to 128 GB, the HTC One (M8) also has 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit better battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has a 2800mAh battery capacity against 2600mAh.

The Galaxy S5 Plus is not only the best phones of the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes it a no doubt choice.
