Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Edge is better than HTC One (M8), having an 85.7 score against 71.9. These phones have the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any differences regarding that. Galaxy S6 Edge's body is newer, somewhat lighter and incredibly thinner than HTC One (M8). Galaxy S6 Edge has just a little better hardware performance than HTC One (M8), because it has a much better GPU working at 650 megahertz, a 64-bit processing unit, 1 GB more RAM and more CPU cores (but slower).
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a little sharper screen than HTC One (M8), because it has a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, a better display density and a bit bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features much more storage capacity for games and applications than HTC One (M8), because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory.
The Galaxy S6 Edge shoots a bit better videos and photos than HTC One (M8), because it has a bigger aperture, a way more megapixels camera in the back, a larger sensor and a lot higher video quality. The Galaxy S6 Edge and HTC One (M8) count with similar battery performance.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HTC One (M8), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One (M8). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy S6 Edge, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the HTC One (M8), letting go some features and specs.
