Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a score of 78.1, which is slightly better than the HTC One (M8)'s general score of 71.9. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has 11 version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features. The HTC One (M8) counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra GPU. HTC One (M8) has a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher screen pixels density and a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080px.
Galaxy XCover 5 has a bit better camera than HTC One (M8), because although it has lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Galaxy XCover 5 also counts with a bigger camera aperture and a camera in the back with lot more megapixels. The Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One (M8), because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB and 64 GB internal storage.
Galaxy XCover 5 has a little longer battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
