The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is much better than HTC One (M8), with an 80.1 score against 71.9. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a way newer cellphone than the HTC One (M8), although it's a lot thicker and noticeably heavier. These devices come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0, so it counts with some nice extra features and improved performance.

The HTC One (M8) counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, a bit smaller display and a quite worse screen density. Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a little faster processing unit than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM and a larger number of cores.

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a way bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than HTC One (M8), because it has 32 GB more internal storage and an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The HTC One (M8) has a slightly better camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a way worse 4 megapixels resolution back camera, a lot smaller diafragm aperture, a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a smaller sensor giving a worse image quality.

Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a superior battery performance than HTC One (M8), because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 2600mAh.

Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC One (M8), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC One (M8). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy XCover FieldPro, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the HTC One (M8), giving up some specs and features.
