Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is much better than HTC One (M8), getting an 81 score against 71.9. Although the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is extremely newer than HTC One (M8), it's just a little bit thicker and a lot heavier. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro has newer 11 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version, so it offers some additional features.
The HTC One (M8) counts with a little better performance than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and lesser processing cores , it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. HTC One (M8) has a brighter display than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a really smaller screen and a little bit lower 1920 x 1080px resolution, it also counts with a little bit better pixel quantity in each inch of display.
Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than HTC One (M8), because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB and 32 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy XCover Pro has a better camera than HTC One (M8), because although it has a lot tinier back-facing camera sensor and lower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy XCover Pro also counts with a larger aperture and a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution.
The Galaxy XCover Pro features a much longer battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy XCover Pro costs more than the HTC One (M8), but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
