The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is better than the HTC One (M8), with a overall score of 85.6 against 71.9. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Z Flip 3 has newer 11 version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0, so it counts with a couple nice extra features. Galaxy Z Flip 3's construction is notably newer and noticeably thinner than HTC One (M8)'s, although it is also somewhat heavier.
HTC One (M8) has a little sharper display than Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has a much smaller screen and a little bit lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a quite better amount of pixels in each inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 features much more storage to install games and applications than HTC One (M8), because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a bit more powerful processing unit than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores and 6 GB more RAM. HTC One (M8) takes clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Z Flip 3, although it has a back camera with a much worse 4 mega pixels resolution and a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light images.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 counts with improved battery life than HTC One (M8), because it has a 27% greater battery size.
Although Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than HTC One (M8), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC One (M8). So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Z Flip 3, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the HTC One (M8), letting go a couple specs and features.
