The Xperia PRO has a much greater memory for games and applications than HTC One (M8), because it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1 TB and 512 GB internal storage capacity.

The Sony Xperia PRO counts with a little better performance than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with more RAM and more cpu cores. Xperia PRO counts with a superior battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has a 4000mAh battery size. The Sony Xperia PRO shoots way better photos and videos than HTC One (M8), because it has a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a bigger aperture, a lot better 3840x2160 video definition and a lot better resolution back facing camera.

Although Sony Xperia PRO is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC One (M8), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One (M8). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Sony Xperia PRO, but if you don't you can save some money and get the HTC One (M8), resigning some features and specifications.
