The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is much better than HTC One (M8), having an 82.2 score against 71.9. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a a lot newer cellphone than the HTC One (M8), although it is noticeably thicker and a lot heavier. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit more powerful processing unit than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better looking screen than HTC One (M8), because it has a bigger screen, a lot higher 2160 x 3840 resolution and a lot more pixels per screen inch. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than HTC One (M8), because it has more internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 400 GB.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better camera than HTC One (M8), because it has a much bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a bigger aperture for better low light images and video, a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution and a back camera with a lot better resolution.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way better battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has a 3540mAh battery size.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC One (M8), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as HTC One (M8). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC One (M8), letting go some features and specifications.
