Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a score of 79.8, which is better than the HTC One (M8)'s score of 71.9. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has the newer 5.1 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version, offering a lot of extra features and some performance improvements. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a newer and thinner device than HTC One (M8), although it's somewhat heavier.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a brighter display than HTC One (M8), because it has a much better 3840 x 2160px resolution, much more pixels per screen inch and a bit larger display. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's processing unit is very similar to the HTC One (M8) one, and although the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM, they both have a 450 MHz graphics processing unit.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a very superior camera than HTC One (M8), because it has a lot larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a camera with lot more mega-pixels, a lot higher video definition and a bigger aperture to take better photography and video in low-light environments. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has just a bit more storage to store more apps and games than HTC One (M8), and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 200 GB.
Xperia Z5 Premium features longer battery duration than HTC One (M8), because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.
Xperia Z5 Premium is a lot more expensive than the HTC One (M8), but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
