Xiaomi Black Shark has a global score of 80.4, which is better than the HTC One (M8)'s 71.9 general score. Xiaomi Black Shark is a way newer and just a little thinner device than the HTC One (M8), but it's heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Black Shark has 9.0 Pie version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version, offering a couple nice extra features and a performance increase.
Xiaomi Black Shark has just a bit better performance than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more CPU cores and 6 GB more RAM memory. HTC One (M8) features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has a bit lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit better pixel count per screen inch.
Xiaomi Black Shark shoots much better photos and videos than HTC One (M8), because it has a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution, a larger aperture for better photography and videos in low-light situations, a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels and a bigger sensor. Xiaomi Black Shark features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than HTC One (M8), because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Black Shark features a much longer battery duration than HTC One (M8), because it has a 54% greater battery size.
