Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is much better than the HTC One (M8), with an 83.8 score against 71.9. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is a noticeably newer and somewhat thinner phone than the HTC One (M8), although it's heavier. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 counts with a bit more powerful processor than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 4 more cpu cores and more RAM.
