The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is better than HTC One (M8), with a global score of 81.6 against 71.6. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 design is a bit heavier but thinner than HTC One (M8), and they were released only 5 months apart. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has the newer 5.0 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 4.4.4.
The Galaxy Note 4 has a bit better processing power than HTC One (M8), and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note 4 also has a much better graphics processing unit running at 500 MHz and 1 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a little more vivid display than HTC One (M8), because it has a quite bigger screen, a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a little more pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy Note 4 counts with as much memory capacity for games and applications as the HTC One (M8) one, they have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB and exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Note 4 features longer battery performance than HTC One (M8), because it has a 3220mAh battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than HTC One (M8), because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low-light photos, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor, a way better 3840x2160 video quality and a back camera with a much better 16 MP resolution.
