Samsung Galaxy S4 is a little bit better than HTC One (M8), having a overall score of 76.1 against 71.6. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S4 is older than HTC One (M8), it's construction is thinner and lighter. These phones work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S4 has 4.4.2 version and HTC One (M8) has Android 4.4.4 version.
The HTC One (M8) counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S4, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and 2 GB of RAM, the HTC One (M8) also has a much better graphics processing unit working at 450 MHz. Galaxy S4 features a screen that is very similar to HTC One (M8)'s display, both have a same size display, an equal 1920 x 1080px resolution and a better pixels number in each display inch.
Samsung Galaxy S4 features a bit better camera than HTC One (M8), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and videos, worse 30 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller sensor giving a worse image quality, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy S4 also counts with a way more mega pixels back camera.
HTC One (M8) counts with a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S4, because it has 32 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy S4 has a battery duration that's just as good as HTC One (M8)'s battery lifetime.
Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, the Galaxy S4 is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
