The Galaxy S5 Plus has a score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than HTC One (M8)'s score of 71.6. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S5 Plus has older 4.4.2 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 4.4.4. The Galaxy S5 Plus design is just a little lighter and thinner than the HTC One (M8), even when both were released with only a couple months difference.

The HTC One (M8) and the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus feature incredibly similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a little lower pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a little larger display. HTC One (M8) features a much bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 128 GB, the HTC One (M8) also has 16 GB more internal memory capacity.

Galaxy S5 Plus has a little faster processor than HTC One (M8), and although they both have 2 GB of RAM and the same number of cores, the Galaxy S5 Plus also has a better 500 megahertz graphics processor. Galaxy S5 Plus features a little longer battery duration than HTC One (M8), because it has an 8 percent greater battery size.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus takes much clearer videos and photos than HTC One (M8), because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a way better resolution camera and a bigger sensor which provides a higher image and video quality.

In addition to being the best phone in this comparison, the Galaxy S5 Plus is also cheaper, making this phone a very good choice.
