The Google Pixel is much better than the HTC One (M8), getting a overall score of 80.2 against 71.6. The Google Pixel body is much newer, a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the HTC One (M8). The HTC One (M8) features a more vivid display than Google Pixel. They have the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a same size screen and a better count of pixels per display inch.
Google Pixel features a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than HTC One (M8), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. HTC One (M8) has a little faster processor than Google Pixel, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 cores, the HTC One (M8) also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
The Google Pixel has just a bit longer battery performance than HTC One (M8), because it has 2770mAh of battery capacity. The Google Pixel captures much clearer photographs and videos than HTC One (M8), and although they both have a F2 diafragm aperture, the Google Pixel also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a lot higher photo and video quality, a back-facing camera with much more MP and a way higher (4K) video definition.
Google Pixel costs a little more money than HTC One (M8), but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
