Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max is a little bit better than HTC One M9, having an 85.3 score against 77.7. Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max comes with iOS 15.x operating system, and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 operating system. The Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max design is a lot newer and thinner, but also way heavier than HTC One M9.
The HTC One M9 has a little bit better display than Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max, although it has a much smaller display, a lot lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a just a bit less pixels per display inch. The iPhone 11 Pro Max features a little bit better hardware performance than HTC One M9, because although it has an inferior number of cores and doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have a 64 bits processor, the iPhone 11 Pro Max also counts with more RAM.
HTC One M9 features a little bit more storage to install applications and games than iPhone 11 Pro Max, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 128 GB. The Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has a really longer battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 40% larger battery size.
The Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max takes just a bit better videos and photos than HTC One M9, because although it has a smaller sensor taking worse quality videos and images, a much less mega pixels camera and a lower (4K) video quality, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better photography in poorly lited situations.
Although Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as HTC One M9. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max, else you can save some money and get the HTC One M9, letting go some features and specifications.
