The iPhone 12 has a score of 88.7, which is much better than HTC One M9's score of 77.7. The iPhone 12 construction is way newer and way thinner, but also a bit heavier than the HTC One M9. IPhone 12 works with iOS 15.x OS, while HTC One M9 counts with Android 5.0 OS. The iPhone 12 counts with a little faster processor than HTC One M9, because although it has 2 lesser cpu cores and doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have a 64 bits processing unit, the iPhone 12 also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.
The iPhone 12 counts with a little sharper display than HTC One M9, because it has a higher 1170 x 2532 resolution, a larger screen and a just a little better pixels density. HTC One M9 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Apple iPhone 12, because although it has worse video frame rates and a lot tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the HTC One M9 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more MP.
HTC One M9 counts with a slightly better storage for games and applications than iPhone 12, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The iPhone 12's battery duration is very similar to the battery performance in HTC One M9, although the iPhone 12 has a 1 percent lower battery capacity.
Although iPhone 12 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the HTC One M9, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
