IPhone 12 Pro has a global score of 92.8, which is better than the HTC One M9's global score of 77.7. IPhone 12 Pro's body is notably newer and incredibly thinner than the HTC One M9's, but it is also somewhat heavier. IPhone 12 Pro counts with iOS 15.x operating system, while HTC One M9 counts with Android 5.0 operating system.
IPhone 12 Pro has just a bit better performance than HTC One M9, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), and they both have a 64 bits processing unit, the iPhone 12 Pro also counts with more RAM memory. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro counts with just a bit better screen than HTC One M9, because it has a bigger screen, a higher resolution of 1170 x 2532 and a just a bit more pixels per inch of display.
The iPhone 12 Pro counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro and HTC One M9 count with similar battery performance, although the Apple iPhone 12 Pro has a 1% lower battery size.
The HTC One M9 has a bit better camera than iPhone 12 Pro, because although it has a way tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and videos and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a camera in the back with lot more MP.
Although iPhone 12 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 12 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the HTC One M9, letting go some specs and features.
