The Asus ROG Phone 6D is just a bit better than HTC One M9, getting a 79.8 score against 77.7. Both phones we are comparing work with Android OS, but Asus ROG Phone 6D has a newer 12 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version. Asus ROG Phone 6D's design is a lot newer, but just a little bit thicker and a lot heavier than the HTC One M9.

The HTC One M9 counts with a little bit better screen than Asus ROG Phone 6D, because although it has a really smaller display and a bit worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite better pixels count in each inch of screen.
