Comparison review
The Google Pixel has a score of 80.2, which is slightly better than the HTC One M9's overall score of 77.7. Google Pixel is a newer cellphone, and it is also a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the HTC One M9. HTC One M9 features a better CPU than Google Pixel, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a graphics processing unit, 4 more CPU cores and a 64 bits CPU.
The HTC One M9 has a more vivid screen than Google Pixel. They have the same 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the same screen density and a screen of the same size. HTC One M9 captures clearer photographs and videos than Google Pixel, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor which offers a lower photo and video quality and a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing photographs or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the HTC One M9 also counts with a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
The Google Pixel has much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. The HTC One M9 has just a bit better battery duration than Google Pixel, because it has a 2840mAh battery capacity instead of 2770mAh.
Although Google Pixel is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Google Pixel, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC One M9, giving up some features and specifications.
