Huawei Mate 10 has a score of 78.9, which is a bit better than HTC One M9's 77.7 overall score. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 10 has newer 10 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0, offering a couple nice extra features. Huawei Mate 10's design is way newer and thinner than the HTC One M9's, but it is somewhat heavier.
HTC One M9 has a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 10, although it has a quite smaller screen, a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a little bit inferior pixels count per display inch. HTC One M9 counts with a bit better processing unit than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also counts with an extra graphics processor and a 64 bits processing unit.
The Huawei Mate 10 features much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB. The HTC One M9 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a much tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the HTC One M9 also counts with a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels and a larger back camera sensor shooting better quality videos and photographs.
Huawei Mate 10 features a really longer battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 2840mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 10 is a better device, it costs more money than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 10, otherwise you can save some money and buy the HTC One M9, letting go a couple specs and features.
