Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is just a bit better than the HTC One M9, getting a score of 82.9 against 77.7. Although the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is somewhat heavier than HTC One M9, it's somewhat thinner and newer. HTC One M9 has a little faster processor than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits processor and an extra graphics processor.
The HTC One M9 counts with a bit better display than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, although it has a just a little worse pixels amount in each inch in the screen, a really smaller display and a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080. Huawei Mate 20 Pro takes much clearer pictures and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a larger camera aperture to take better photography and videos in low-light environments, a much larger back-facing camera sensor and a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a much better battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 2840mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One M9. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the HTC One M9, letting go a couple features and specifications.
