Huawei Mate X2 has a general score of 89.1, which is better than HTC One M9's score of 77.7. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X2 has a more recent 10 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version. Huawei Mate X2's construction is notably newer and somewhat thinner than the HTC One M9's, although it's also incredibly heavier.

The HTC One M9 has just a little better performance than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits processor and an additional graphics co-processor. HTC One M9 features a sharper display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a way smaller display and a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a little better pixel density.

Huawei Mate X2 takes much clearer photographs and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a lot higher resolution camera in the back and a bigger aperture for better low light captures. The Huawei Mate X2 features a much better storage for games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.

The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a very superior battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.

Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as HTC One M9. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate X2, else you can save a couple dollars and get the HTC One M9, letting go some specs and features.
