Comparison review
The Huawei P20 Pro has an overall score of 81.4, which is just a bit better than the HTC One M9's 77.7 global score. The Huawei P20 Pro body is notably newer and thinner, but somewhat heavier than the HTC One M9. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Huawei P20 Pro has 10 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0, providing you lots of additional features and optimized performance.
The HTC One M9 counts with a better screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also counts with a just a bit greater screen density. HTC One M9 has a little better processing power than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits CPU and an additional graphics processor.
Huawei P20 Pro features a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Huawei P20 Pro takes better photos and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a back-facing camera with a lot better 40 mega pixels resolution, a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images in low-light environments and a way bigger sensor shooting way better quality videos and pictures.
Huawei P20 Pro counts with a very superior battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 41% more battery size.
Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC One M9. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the HTC One M9, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
