The Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is much better than the HTC One M9's 77.7 general score. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P40 has 10 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version. The Huawei P40 is a incredibly newer and somewhat thinner cellphone than HTC One M9, but it is also somewhat heavier.
The HTC One M9 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Huawei P40, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits processor and an extra graphics co-processor. HTC One M9 has a sharper display than Huawei P40, because although it has a bit lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per display inch.
The Huawei P40 has a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Huawei P40 has a much better battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has a 34% bigger battery size. The Huawei P40 shoots a lot better photographs and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 also has higher 60 fps video frame rates, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing much better quality photographs and videos, a camera with much more mega pixels and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos and videos in low light situations.
The Huawei P40 is more expensive than the HTC One M9, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
