Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Lite has a score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than the HTC One M9's global score of 77.7. The Huawei P40 Lite body is way newer and somewhat thinner, but also somewhat heavier than HTC One M9. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P40 Lite has 10 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, offering lots of additional features.
The HTC One M9 has a more vivid screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a really smaller display, it also counts with a bit better pixels density. Huawei P40 Lite counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The HTC One M9 counts with a little better hardware performance than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits processor and an additional graphics co-processor. Huawei P40 Lite captures slightly better photographs and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a much more MP camera, a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality and a larger aperture to take better photography and video in low light situations.
Huawei P40 Lite features a very superior battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei P40 Lite is a better device, it is more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One M9. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei P40 Lite, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the HTC One M9, resigning a couple features and specs.
