HTC One M9 is slightly better than LG G5, getting a 77.7 score against 76.1. Although HTC One M9 is older and incredibly thicker than LG G5, it's construction is still a bit lighter. Both devices we are comparing here use Android operating system, but the HTC One M9 has an older 5.0 version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo.

HTC One M9 has a quite superior hardware performance than LG G5, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits processor, a greater number of cores and an additional graphics co-processor. HTC One M9 features a little more vivid display than LG G5, although it has a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, a little less pixels per inch of screen and a quite smaller screen.

LG G5 has a much better storage capacity for apps and games than HTC One M9, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G5 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. HTC One M9 takes slightly better pictures and videos than LG G5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the HTC One M9 also counts with a back-facing camera with more megapixels and a bigger back camera sensor which gives a higher image and video quality.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, HTC One M9 is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
