Motorola razr (2020) is better than HTC One M9, with a global score of 87 against 77.7. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS, but the Motorola razr (2020) has a newer 11 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, providing you a couple additional features. The Motorola razr (2020) body is a lot newer and somewhat thinner than HTC One M9's, but it is somewhat heavier.
The HTC One M9 has a much better looking screen than Motorola razr (2020), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite greater pixel count per screen inch and a bit higher 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Motorola razr (2020) counts with a superior memory capacity to install games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory.
HTC One M9 has a bit superior processor than Motorola razr (2020), because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits processor and an additional graphics co-processor. The Motorola razr (2020) shoots much clearer photos and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Motorola razr (2020) also has a larger sensor, a much better resolution camera in the back and a way bigger aperture to take better low light captures.
The Motorola razr (2020)'s battery life is very similar to HTC One M9's battery lifetime, although the Motorola razr (2020) has 2800mAh of battery capacity instead of 2840mAh.
Although Motorola razr (2020) is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC One M9. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy HTC One M9, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
