The HTC One M9 is slightly better than Galaxy A22, with a overall score of 77.7 against 76.1. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but the HTC One M9 has older 5.0 version while Galaxy A22 has Android 12. Although the HTC One M9 is much older and somewhat thicker than the Galaxy A22, it's body is still somewhat lighter.
HTC One M9 counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy A22, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a GPU and a 64-bit processing unit. HTC One M9 features a way better looking screen than Galaxy A22, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixel density and a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080px.
HTC One M9 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A22, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light captures and videos and a lot less megapixels back facing camera, it also counts with a much higher video resolution. Samsung Galaxy A22 has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than HTC One M9, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.
HTC One M9 counts with a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A22.
