Galaxy A30 has a global score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the HTC One M9's overall score of 77.7. Even though Galaxy A30 is just a bit heavier than the HTC One M9, it's extremely thinner and much newer. HTC One M9 has a faster processing unit than Galaxy A30, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits processor and an extra graphics processor.
The HTC One M9 has a better screen than Galaxy A30, because although it has a really smaller display and a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit better display density. The Galaxy A30 features much more storage for games and applications than HTC One M9, because it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy A30 features a way better battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 41 percent greater battery size. The HTC One M9 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy A30, because although it has a way tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light photography and videos, it also counts with a higher resolution camera in the back, a way higher 3840x2160 video quality and a bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
